I was doing so well selling at the Farmers Market until last week. The State Liquor Board called and said there was a complaint that I was selling out-of-state wine. I told them no, my wine is all made at Lakeland Winery in Syracuse. But, apparently the law actually says ONLY wine made from grapes grown in New York can be sold at the Farmers Market.

Of course it doesn’t apply to California Strawberries; and what if you make the wine from NY grapes in Pennselvania and then sell it in NY?

I’m telling you, sometimes life is difficult…anyone have any ideas. I just lost $2,000 per month.
