There’s been a renaissance of peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches in my life. I’ve forgiven those soggy ones for showing up in my school lunch box as a kid. There’s something about those peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that just hit the spot — my sweet spot, that is. I have an enormous, all consuming sweet tooth. It’s the kind of  addiction that makes dentists all over the world fire up their drills.  I scoff when health experts advise to cut sugar out of the diet. That’s not going to happen, especially when our June featured wine is the very sweet, grape jammy treat, the Sweet Spot.

The Sweet Spot, made with Concord grapes, is like the grape-jelly-in-the-peanut-butter-and-jelly-sandwich for grown ups. It’s the adult version of the grape juice drink in your lunch box. Trust me, it’s delicious with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
